John Copas vs James Cajigas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Paul Maya Gym, Yuma,  taking place on 11/11/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Copas (9 - 5 - 2) who hails from Phoenix, USA and James Cajigas(4 - 5 - 5) from Houston, USA.  Copas weighed in at 126 pounds, while Cajigas weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Callum Pareja, and the three ringside judges are Declan Duffie, Esteban Montesano and Ian Tosh.  

Round 1: 

Cajigas pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cajigas attempts to land a jab, but Copas dodges the shot and counters with a cross.
