Fraco Ojeda vs Michael Abernethy

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Caesars Palace Pavilion, Las Vegas,  taking place on 22/11/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Americas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fraco Ojeda (15(9) - 0) who hails from Chimalhuacan, Mexico and Michael Abernethy(16(9) - 0) from Jackson, USA.  Both Ojeda and Abernethy weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Cadwallader, and the three ringside judges are Amon Gibson, Ollie Latta and George Ramo.  

Round 1:

Ojeda drives a jab into Abernethy's body.  Ojeda attempts to land a cross, but Abernethy sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.
