Joel Mitambo vs Paul Naikuni

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 16/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Commonwealth Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joel Mitambo (15(3) - 0) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Paul Naikuni(11 - 2(1)) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Both Mitambo and Naikuni weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Bwakali, and the three ringside judges are James Baldacchino, Hayden Sakudao and Dembe Mutunga.
