Gareth Drennan vs Glynn Alison

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Belasco Theatre, Los Angeles,  taking place on 19/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Drennan (7 - 0) who hails from Anaheim, USA and Glynn Alison(3 - 9 - 3) from Fort Wayne, USA.  Both Drennan and Alison weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Leamon, and the three ringside judges are Robert Christopher, James Keay and Michael Torry.  

Round 1: 

Drennan is looking to close the distance.  Alison throws a left uppercut, but Drennan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Drennan pushes his forearm into Alison's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Drennan.  
Drennan walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Drennan hits home with a left hook.  
Drennan lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Drennan ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.
