Jax Asencio vs Xabat Armijo

Boxing Daily Report from the Habe Promotions promoted show at Porfio Gramajo Gym, Quito,  taking place on 17/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jax Asencio (9 - 9 - 1) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Xabat Armijo(12 - 3 - 1) from Quito, Ecuador.  Asencio weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces, while Armijo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Alameda, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Santillanes, Ora Urrea and Luis Mazariegos.  

Round 1: 

Armijo connects with a right hook.
