Faisal Akbar vs Imran Ouda

Boxing Daily Report from the Aning Promotions promoted show at Giza Hamoudi, Giza,  taking place on 18/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Egypt-Giza Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Faisal Akbar (12 - 6 - 1) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Imran Ouda(9 - 0 - 1) from Giza, Egypt.  Akbar weighed in at 134 pounds and 6 ounces, while Ouda weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amer Racid, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Aydin, Abdul El-Sayed and Imran Kemsit.  

Round 1: 

Akbar attempts to land a jab, but Ouda sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Akbar switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Ouda slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ouda gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Ouda steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  Ouda ties up his opponent.  Ouda pushes his forearm into Akbar's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ouda about fouling.  
Ouda is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Akbar tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Ouda closes the distance and connects with a left hook.

The winner by KO is Ouda!
