Audrick Gieselman vs Rolf Alker

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia promoted show at Dusseldorf Bickelhaupt, Dusseldorf,  taking place on 19/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Audrick Gieselman (9 - 7 - 3) who hails from Duisburg, Germany and Rolf Alker(12 - 6 - 2) from Essen, Germany.  Both Gieselman and Alker weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gofried Dehner, and the three ringside judges are Hank Kuefler, Koby Schabacker and Willard Kronberger.  

Round 1: 

Alker is looking to close the distance.  Alker pivots from in front of his opponent.  Gieselman throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gieselman is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand right.  
Alker walks Gieselman down, trapping him in a corner.  Alker is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Gieselman finds the target with a jab.  
Alker drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Alker walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Alker pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Alker pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gieselman lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Alker is looking to close the distance.  Alker lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Alker.  That has caused a minor cut above the right eye.  .  
Alker steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Gieselman steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Gieselman steps to the outside.  Gieselman contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Alker throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gieselman throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Alker is looking to close the distance.  Gieselman pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gieselman lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Gieselman switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
Gieselman lands a cross.  
Gieselman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.
