Amjad Junejo vs Waqas Naim

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Aftab Azizi Gym, Mumbai,  taking place on 21/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Maharashtra Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amjad Junejo (13 - 4) who hails from Nagpur, India and Waqas Naim(5 - 2) from Mumbai, India.  Both Junejo and Naim weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasvinder Kapoor, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Hares, Farhan Diab and Ashoka Pathak.  

Round 1: 

Naim gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Naim ties up his opponent.  Naim leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Naim lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Naim manages to force Junejo onto the ropes.  Naim lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.
