Valentino Adduce vs Fino Maffeo

Boxing Daily Report from the Dewornu Promotions promoted show at Milan Allegrini, Milan,  taking place on 21/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Lombardy Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valentino Adduce (9 - 9(1) - 3) who hails from Milan, Italy and Fino Maffeo(10 - 7 - 4) from Brescia, Italy.  Both Adduce and Maffeo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Giuseppe Ezzo, and the three ringside judges are Alfredo Valditara, Augusto Abate and Giuseppe Pizzorno.

Maffeo gets on the inside.  Maffeo wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Adduce dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Adduce.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
