Cody Lever vs Edward Catherwood

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 26/10/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Cody Lever (3(2) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Edward Catherwood(1 - 1) from San Jose, USA.  Both Lever and Catherwood weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid Hackney, and the three ringside judges are Paul Mings, Harry Burwick and Sean Richards.  

Round 1: 

Lever closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.

Lever lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lever digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lever lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Lever clinches his opponent.  Lever leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lever is on target with a right hook.  
Lever lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Catherwood wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Lever has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
