Mitsuru Shiroma vs Jiro Kondo

Boxing Daily Report from the Nottinggham Promotions promoted show at Takeo Ueno Gym, Sendai,  taking place on 22/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Miyagi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mitsuru Shiroma (6 - 1 - 1) who hails from Sendai, Japan and Jiro Kondo(6 - 7 - 1) from Sendai, Japan.  Both Shiroma and Kondo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Sakai, and the three ringside judges are Mitsuru Asano, Satoshi Matsui and Mitsuru Asano.  

Round 1: 

Shiroma advances into close range.  Shiroma pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Shiroma feints a jab, but Kondo is not fooled and responds with a left uppercut.  
Shiroma snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.
