Tevin Aning vs Nuru Mensah

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Frankie's Hotel, Accra,  taking place on 08/11/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Tevin Aning (5 - 3 - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Nuru Mensah(4 - 8 - 2) from Accra, Ghana.  Aning weighed in at 118 pounds, while Mensah weighed in at 117 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Malik Hussain, and the three ringside judges are Kabonesa Kotei, Usi Boakye and Chris Dokuaa.  

Round 1: 

Mensah sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
