Ian Sang vs Charlie Sigei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 23/11/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Sang (7 - 7 - 2) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Charlie Sigei(8 - 4 - 4) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Sang weighed in at 200 pounds, while Sigei weighed in at 199 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Perlo, and the three ringside judges are Lisimba Dalrymple, Sam Yiampoy and George Waciuma.  

Round 1: 

Sang throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sigei walks Sang onto the ropes.  Sigei quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sigei tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
