Peter Zai vs Dave Koh

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Perak promoted show at Waqar Qazi Gym, Ipoh,  taking place on 25/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Perak Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Zai (5 - 10 - 6) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Dave Koh(14 - 3 - 2) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Zai weighed in at 126 pounds, while Koh weighed in at 125 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Danyaal Moghaddam, and the three ringside judges are Khalid Rahaim, Amer Firman and Danyaal Moghaddam.  

Round 1: 

Koh is on target with a cross.

Zai sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Koh drives a right uppercut into Zai's body.  
Koh is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Koh drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Zai lands a jab.  
Koh digs in a left uppercut to Zai's liver.  
Koh goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Zai's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
