Boxing Daily Report from the Ace Boxing promoted show at St David's Hall, Cardiff,  taking place on 07/12/2024:

Clearly Ace Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Arthur Gwilym (3 - 2 - 2) who hails from Swansea, UK and Robert Thomas(5 - 10(1) - 4) from Glasgow, UK.  Gwilym weighed in at 200 pounds, while Thomas weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Gillespie, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carrick, Mark MacNevin and Mark MacNevin.  

Round 1:

Thomas throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Gwilym time to recover.
