Dave Fenwick vs Ashley Hammel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Ngakaho, Christchurch,  taking place on 26/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Canterbury Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Fenwick (8 - 5 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Ashley Hammel(9(1) - 0) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Fenwick weighed in at 140 pounds, while Hammel weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Houp, and the three ringside judges are Richard Kier, Tobias Vert and Noel Haxton.
