Rehman Fareedi vs Rabiu Akpovi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at Ogenyi Idehen Gym, Ogbomosho,  taking place on 26/11/2024:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Oyo State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Oyo State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehman Fareedi (7 - 4 - 1) who hails from Ibadan, Nigeria and Rabiu Akpovi(9 - 5 - 2) from Ogbomosho, Nigeria.  Fareedi weighed in at 159 pounds and 12 ounces, while Akpovi weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ikechukwu Gberu, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Farid, Lordson Fasanya and Izunna Mgbokpo.
