Peter Ardrey vs David Lochhead

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Hornby Working Mens Club, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Canterbury Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Ardrey (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and David Lochhead(5 - 0) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Ardrey and Lochhead weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Atchison, and the three ringside judges are Robert Lawman, Ewan Roxburgh and Michael Breck.
