Ollie Maddox vs Dai Clouston

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Belasco Theatre, Los Angeles,  taking place on 03/12/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ollie Maddox (7 - 0) who hails from San Bernardino, USA and Dai Clouston(7 - 10(2)) from Cape Coral, USA.  Both Maddox and Clouston weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cruz Arebalo, and the three ringside judges are John Rhydderch, Ian Blevens and Dillon Downey.  

Round 1: 

Maddox quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Clouston tries to land a cross, but Maddox dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Maddox tries to keep the action at long range.  Maddox feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Clouston advances into close range.  Maddox pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.
