Gregor Serafini vs Jack Argyle

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 07/12/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Mid Atlantic Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gregor Serafini (8 - 4) who hails from New York City, USA and Jack Argyle(13(3) - 2) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Serafini and Argyle weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bart McWethy, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Hier, Mike Stobie and Fred Reese.  

Round 1: 

Argyle advances into close range.  Argyle pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Serafini wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Argyle dabs at his face checking for damage.
