Michi Iwai vs Aoi Minamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Differ Ariake, Tokyo,  taking place on 23/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Michi Iwai (8 - 0) who hails from Higashiosaka, Japan and Aoi Minamoto(5 - 3 - 3) from Hachioji, Japan.  Both Iwai and Minamoto weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Iida, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Morita, Fumio Nakazawa and Takeo Kibe.  

Round 1: 

Iwai sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.
