Mel Kidd vs Corrado Gerster

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Wales promoted show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 09/12/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a tournament fight from Ultimate Boxing Cham.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Mel Kidd (5 - 2(1)) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Corrado Gerster(1 - 11 - 2) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Kidd weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces, while Gerster weighed in at 226 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Aries, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Jones, Gavin McAffee and Mason Shiel.
