Antonio Veras vs Jeraldo Garzon

Boxing Daily Report from the Burja Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Cordon, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 13/12/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Dominican Republic-Santiago Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antonio Veras (8 - 4) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Jeraldo Garzon(1 - 10 - 2) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Both Veras and Garzon weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Banales, and the three ringside judges are Angel Vara, Santiago Sepeda and Dario Aguas.  

Round 1: 

Veras switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
