Will Chimbetu vs Johnny Mutumbami

Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Harare Ncube, Harare,  taking place on 03/12/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Will Chimbetu (12 - 4) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Johnny Mutumbami(14 - 4(2) - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Chimbetu weighed in at 147 pounds, while Mutumbami weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Mubako, and the three ringside judges are Robert Hunzvi, John Ngoma and Rex Nyabusha.
