Umair Abboud vs John Korde

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 21/12/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Umair Abboud (12 - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and John Korde(13 - 4) from Kampala, Uganda.  Abboud weighed in at 246 pounds and 11 ounces, while Korde weighed in at 238 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Changeywo, and the three ringside judges are Shaun Arusei, Faisal Shaheen and Scott Merande.
