Kashif Obeid vs Umair Almasri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Yemen-Sana'a promoted show at Haaris Almubarak Gym, Sana'a,  taking place on 03/12/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Yemen Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yemen TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kashif Obeid (11 - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Umair Almasri(13 - 2) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Obeid weighed in at 121 pounds and 8 ounces, while Almasri weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Nassar, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Naseer, Tariq Dar and Yasin Ibrahim.  

Round 1: 

Almasri advances into close range.  Obeid pivots to the right of his opponent.  Obeid lands a right hook.  Almasri clinches his opponent.  Almasri uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Obeid behind the head. 
Almasri hits home with a left hook.  Almasri throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
