Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Expo Hall, Tampa,  taking place on 07/12/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DAZN, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Danny Nganga (6 - 0) who hails from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya and Cabal Thil(3 - 8 - 5) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Nganga weighed in at 160 pounds, while Thil weighed in at 159 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alano Gimenez, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Poyner, Kenzie Calley and Stuart Gillund.  

Round 1: 

Nganga is on target with a left hook.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Thil dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Thil lands a cross.  Thil attempts to land a left uppercut, but Nganga sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Thil advances into close range.  Nganga sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Thil throws a left hook, but Nganga ties up his opponent.  Nganga leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Nganga's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
