Brendan Feemster vs Ivan Mikulich

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Don Haskins Convention Center, El Paso,  taking place on 21/12/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brendan Feemster (13 - 0) who hails from El Paso, USA and Ivan Mikulich(10 - 2 - 2) from Samara, Russia.  Feemster weighed in at 154 pounds, while Mikulich weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amon East, and the three ringside judges are Sid Hackney, Noah Fergusson and Paul Mings.  

Round 1: 

Feemster gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Mikulich's body.  Feemster clinches his opponent.  Feemster uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Mikulich's kidney.

Mikulich throws a left hook, but Feemster holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Feemster pushes his forearm into Mikulich's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Feemster gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Feemster ties up his opponent.  Feemster leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Feemster is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Feemster.  
Feemster advances into close range.  Mikulich throws a right hook, but Feemster holds on to his opponent.  Feemster is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Feemster uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Mikulich's kidney.
