Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Royal Hotel Hiroshima, Hiroshima,  taking place on 13/12/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michi Jo (9(1) - 0) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Yoshi Matsumoto(1 - 10 - 1) from Kawasaki, Japan.  Both Jo and Matsumoto weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iwao Sando, and the three ringside judges are Jun Hironaka, Ichiro Otani and Takeshi Yokoyama.  

Round 1: 

Jo stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Matsumoto tries to land a cross, but Jo sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
