Santiago Varon vs Jerrold Jaimez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Guayaquil Huerta, Guayaquil,  taking place on 14/12/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South American Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Varon (14(3) - 3(3)) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Jerrold Jaimez(16 - 1(1) - 1) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Both Varon and Jaimez weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Ramirez, and the three ringside judges are Pedro Siman, Cipriano Carrera and Alfonso Cilia.
