Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 17/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Southern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dylan Kabungama (11 - 3 - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Naftali Afful(9 - 1(1) - 1) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Kabungama and Afful weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kofi Kpesebaan, and the three ringside judges are Michael Grobbelaar, Quannell Poku and Tshepo Dikgacoi.
