Dumisani Mpeta vs James Ali

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 17/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dumisani Mpeta (11(1) - 7) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and James Ali(8 - 6 - 1) from Ibadan, Nigeria.  Mpeta weighed in at 126 pounds, while Ali weighed in at 125 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kofi Kpesebaan, and the three ringside judges are Michael Grobbelaar, Quannell Poku and Tshepo Dikgacoi.
