Neville Damita vs Bart Nyauza

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Durban Convention Centre, Durban,  taking place on 07/12/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Neville Damita (9(3) - 0) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Bart Nyauza(3 - 3 - 1) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Damita and Nyauza weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ollie Rensburg, and the three ringside judges are Corey Nzimande, Thamsanqa Mbeki and Brad Van Blerk.  

Round 1: 

Damita wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nyauza dabs at his face checking for damage.

Damita throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Damita ties up his opponent.  Damita is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Damita to stop fouling.  
Nyauza throws a right uppercut, but Damita ties up his opponent.  Damita uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Nyauza behind the head. Damita leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Damita lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nyauza closes the distance.  Damita drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Damita digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Damita lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.
