Boxing Daily Report from the Buah Promotions promoted show at Centro Social Urbano da Liberdade, Salvador,  taking place on 15/12/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South American Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Barreiro (14(7) - 0) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Alejandro Matute(18(2) - 0) from San Lorenzo, Paraguay.  Both Barreiro and Matute weighed in at 154 pounds.
