Guillermo Cotto vs Santiago Barroso

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Ceara promoted show at Fortaleza Serpe, Fortaleza,  taking place on 15/12/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Ceara Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Guillermo Cotto (13 - 2) who hails from Fortaleza, Brazil and Santiago Barroso(8 - 7 - 1) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Both Cotto and Barroso weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Urvano Carreiro, and the three ringside judges are Juan Duque, Dario Paulos and Ximen Souva.
