Sam Guffey vs Leo Weems

Boxing Daily Report from the Yassa Promotions promoted show at Calgary Tagert, Calgary,  taking place on 16/12/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada-Alberta Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Guffey (11 - 0) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Leo Weems(11 - 0) from Edmonton, Canada.  Guffey weighed in at 167 pounds and 10 ounces, while Weems weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tyson Bart, and the three ringside judges are Chris Bach, Zachary Shillinglaw and Chris Crear.
