Leonardo Vayo vs Guillermo Olivares

Boxing Daily Report from the Acquah Promotions promoted show at Itagui Morea, Itagui,  taking place on 16/12/2024:

Clearly Acquah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Antioquia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonardo Vayo (12(1) - 2) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Guillermo Olivares(7 - 7 - 3) from Bello, Colombia.  Both Vayo and Olivares weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Alcocer, and the three ringside judges are Vidal Lopez, Seferino Vaca and Oleos Cantara.  

Round 1: 

Vayo digs in a firm left hook to Olivares's ribs.  
Vayo is on target with a right hook.  Vayo clinches his opponent.  Olivares is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Olivares about fouling.  
Vayo cuts off the ring, trapping Olivares in the corner.  Olivares throws a right uppercut, but Vayo ties up his opponent.  Vayo pushes his forearm into Olivares's face.  The referee warns Vayo and breaks the clinch.  
Vayo lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Vayo is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Vayo cuts off the ring, trapping Olivares on the ropes.  Vayo lands a right hook.  
Vayo lands two right hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.
