Cisco Vasallo vs Jose Castrillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mufwembe Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Galban, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 17/12/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cisco Vasallo (16 - 2) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Jose Castrillo(7 - 11(2) - 1) from Los Alcarrizos, Dominican Republic.  Both Vasallo and Castrillo weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Urvano Corea, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Saldivar, Carlos Acosta and Luis Manzanares.
