Antonio Alcon vs Vegas Riquelme

Boxing Daily Report from the Burja Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Flor, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 17/12/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Antonio Alcon (11 - 0 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Vegas Riquelme(9 - 5 - 3) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Alcon and Riquelme weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Cura, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Lena, Diego Roberto and Iago Portales.
