Owen Fridge vs Charlie Kaponga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at New Zealand-Wellington Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 30/12/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the New Zealand-Wellington Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Fridge (9 - 8 - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Charlie Kaponga(7 - 11 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Fridge and Kaponga weighed in at 126 pounds.
