Malcolm Kinnison vs Neil Nivens

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Des Moines Civic Center Stoner Theater, Des Moines,  taking place on 18/12/2024:

Clearly AI USA-Iowa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malcolm Kinnison (8 - 6 - 4) who hails from Omaha, USA and Neil Nivens(9 - 1(1)) from Des Moines, USA.  Kinnison weighed in at 111 pounds and 8 ounces, while Nivens weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Winning, and the three ringside judges are Michael Hutchison, Isaac Levingston and Mark Starrett.  

Round 1: 

Nivens closes the distance.  Kinnison throws a right hook, but Nivens clinches his opponent.  Nivens pushes his forearm into Kinnison's face.  The referee warns Nivens and breaks the clinch.
