Forrest Noel vs Edmond Balla

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dakar,  taking place on 30/12/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Forrest Noel (12 - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Edmond Balla(7 - 8 - 1) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Noel and Balla weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gaston Ndong, and the three ringside judges are Sezni Beal, Valentin Gasson and Audric Trzeguet.  

Round 1: 

Noel lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Noel forces Balla to retreat into a corner.  Noel throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Noel ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Noel pushes his forearm into Balla's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Noel about fouling.  
Noel is looking to close the distance.  Balla throws a left hook, but Noel ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Noel is on target with a right hook.  
Noel pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.
