Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 28/12/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Foley (9 - 2) who hails from Cincinnati, USA and Scott Bowen(4 - 3 - 5) from Moreno Valley, USA.  Both Foley and Bowen weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Dave Greenan, Kyle Ormiston and Hugh Hier.  

Round 1:

Bowen connects with a right hook.  Foley clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Foley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Foley steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Foley throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Foley holds on to his opponent.  Foley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bowen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Foley lands a left hook.

Foley throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
