Yutaka Kobashigawa vs Aki Matsumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Asahikawa Sando, Asahikawa,  taking place on 23/12/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yutaka Kobashigawa (16 - 1) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Aki Matsumoto(14 - 1 - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Kobashigawa and Matsumoto weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kaede Takenaka, and the three ringside judges are Jiro Yokoyama, Isamu Hara and Kyo Kawabata.
