Hikaru Kida vs Raiden Matsuno

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 20/12/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hikaru Kida (13 - 2) who hails from Fuchu, Japan and Raiden Matsuno(10 - 4 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Kida and Matsuno weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Morita, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Shiroma, Keiichi Iida and Dai Fujita.  

Round 1: 

Matsuno throws a right hook, but Kida ties up his opponent.  Kida pushes his forearm into Matsuno's face.  The ref breaks Kida's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
