Ricky Newall vs Darryl Rella

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 11/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ricky Newall (8 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Darryl Rella(10 - 3 - 3) from Perth, Australia.  Both Newall and Rella weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arran Ritchey, and the three ringside judges are Jake Denniston, Paul Lawrie and Andy Wright.
