Dong-jun Jee vs Keiichi Maki

Boxing Daily Report from the Maloian Promotions promoted show at Jiro Oshiro Gym, Fukuyama,  taking place on 23/12/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dong-jun Jee (10 - 0) who hails from Seoul, South Korea and Keiichi Maki(2 - 3 - 1) from Kawasaki, Japan.  Both Jee and Maki weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Suda, and the three ringside judges are Yoshi Kawakami, Goro Tengan and Yoshi Kawakami.  

Round 1: 

Jee advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Maki walks Jee onto the ropes.  Jee is on target with a jab.  
Jee closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Jee ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jee pushes his forearm into Maki's face.  The referee warns Jee and breaks the clinch.
