Gus Cathcart vs Isaac Chatara

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Rainbow Towers Hotel, Harare,  taking place on 10/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DStv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gus Cathcart (8 - 4 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Isaac Chatara(10 - 6) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Cathcart weighed in at 167 pounds and 2 ounces, while Chatara weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Nengomasha, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Mubako, Jack Feamster and John Takawira.
