Adnan Sendid vs Majid Megharia

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Le Méridien Oran Hotel & Convention Centre, Oran,  taking place on 15/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Northern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Adnan The Chosen One Sendid (16(12) - 0) who hails from Constantine, Algeria and Majid Megharia(11(1) - 0 - 1) from Algiers, Algeria.  Sendid weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Megharia weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Khedali, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Gamouh, Amer Aissou and Imran Kerbouche.  

Round 1: 

Megharia quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sendid lands a sharp cross.  
Sendid switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  Sendid throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Megharia drives a left hook into his opponents body.

As they grapple, Sendid pushes his forearm into Megharia's face.  The referee warns Sendid and breaks the clinch.
