Etebo Garuba vs Aftab Akhter

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Younis, Kano,  taking place on 27/12/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Etebo Garuba (8 - 1) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Aftab Akhter(11(2) - 4) from Kano, Nigeria.  Garuba weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Akhter weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Adebola, and the three ringside judges are Chinedu Monu, Gbolahan Adenaike and Gbolahan Adenaike.
